Bat Detectives
Learn about these fascinating mammals from the Hampshire Bat Group and discover which species inhabit the Country Parks using bat detectors! We will be walking up to 2km. For families with children 7+ years. Part of the fee goes towards Bat Conservation.

Walk & Talk- Bursledon, Hamble, Hound
Join a circular guided walk of up to 3km. The walks are at a relaxed pace but can follow unsurfaced paths and be quite muddy in places. Walking boots are advisable. Refreshments are provided. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome
Meeting instructions are below:
Bursledon - park at The Fox and Hounds pub, Hungerford, SO31 8DE. This walk is 1.5 km and is of moderate difficulty as it has two slopes with uneven ground. We stop for refreshments half way round with a view of the Hamble river.
Hound- park in the layby of St Mary's church, Hound Road. This route contains some surfaced footpath and then it follows the Hamble Rail Trail and back across fields containing horses. It can get very muddy after rain. The walk is 2 km in distance.
Hamble Common- We meet at The Mercury Library and Hub on High Street in Hamble. Parking is available on Copse Lane. The route is 3 km long, passing through Hamble Common and along the coastal path. Ground conditions are uneven in places. We have refreshments in the Mercury Hub.

Walk and Talk- IVCP

A self-guided group who meet for a walk and talk in the park. The walk is up to 3 km in distance at a relaxed pace. It is mostly on surfaced tracks but sometimes includes walking up a slope and after rain the ground conditions can be slippery. Walking boots are recommended.
