Join a gentle walk to identify five common trees to increase your nature knowledge and enable more enjoyment of the countryside. Wide paths and clearings will be used to maintain social distancing. For adults. Please do not attend the event if

A stroll in the park for accompanied 3-5 year olds stopping for a story and natural crafts. Wide paths and spacious clearings have been chosen to provide a socially distanced and safe environment. Any materials provided will be prepared in individual bags. We will be sitting on the ground so you may want to bring a cushion. In order to keep a record of numbers only one adult per child may attend.

12 September 2020 Walk, Talk and Draw

Overcome the fear of the blank page and discover ideas of beauty in landscape and gardens with this all encompassing sketching and lecture workshop. Experiment with a variety of materials including charcoal, pen and pencil through the creation of sketches out and about in Itchen Valley Country Park while discourse is provided and discussion is encouraged about the history and philosophy of landscape and gardens. Learn to draw in a stimulating and encouraging environment and relax at the café whilst sketching your surroundings. Suitable for those with no previous drawing experience or anyone wanting to touch up on their sketching skills.
